2010 may be ending but DiveXsite still has some amazing dive opportunities available.
2011 has some wicked dive trips available; the promise of further exciting and awesome trips is just the start.
We have some great local and overseas dive trips coming up!
No matter if you are the serious diver or the fun diver, DiveXsite will have something for you!
Enjoy 8 dives on this action packed weekend as our boat visits spectacular reefs and wrecks of the Beautiful Moreton Bay Marine Park. We spend 2 days and 2 nightsonboard, diving, hanging out and generally having a damn good time! This is a great opportunity for those of you wanting to do your Advanced Open Water course consisting of 5 Adventure Dives, or complete specialty dives in Enriched Air, Deep, Navigation or Night Diving.
Reality 1, our Sunday Dive Boat, caters for up to 12 divers with ample seating and space for your comfort. It has a toilet & shower on board, a spacious galley and a nice deck area for sunning. Reality 1 heads out to the beautiful Flinders Reef and Moreton Bay Marine Park and visits most favorable dive sites for that day. Morning and afternoon tea as well as lunch are provided along with your 2 dives.
We will provide a courtesy bus to help you enjoy this fun filled day; departure is from the shop at 6:30 am and return is approximately 5:30 pm.
Why not come along, have some fun and relax on the high speed boat.
Join us for two dives at Cook Island! This site is always an interesting dive with abundant marine life and varying depths to suit all divers. There will be tea, coffee and snacks on board the boat during the surface interval. We depart from the shop at 6am sharp and bookings for these trips are essential. We are diving here constantly and dates are arranged regularly.
Our last trip was on 14 Nov. and we had an absolute blast, thanks to Ben and Jane who did their refreshers, Scott, Dan, Tom, Rachel, Christoph, Jorge, Tony and zac we had a great day with plenty to see and lots of laughs, thanks.
This special dive trip offers 3 dives; an afternoon dive, a late afternoon dive and then a night dive.
The first dive will be at a location that suits the conditions for that day, the next 2 dives will be at Cook Island. There is always something exciting to see at Cook; turtles, leopard sharks, eagle rays, octopi and wobbegongs are just some of the different creatures you can find around the island. Tea, coffee and snacks are available aboard the boat and we will be supplying you with a lite dinner before your night dive.
So come along and experience this amazing site by day and then again at night!
Join us for a Spectacular dive on the Ex HMAS Brisbane. This former warship was sunk in July 2005 for diving and now rests off the Mooloolaba coast in 27m of water.
The wreck has purposefully blasted access holes allowing entry to the engine room, boiler room and the sleeping quarters of its former crew. This is a great dive site; the wreck itself has now become an artificial reef and home to many species of tropical fish, nudibranchs, turtles, eagle ray, octopi, angler fish and much, much more.
The trip is a perfect opportunity for anyone wanting to experience a wreck or deep dive and in turn can count towards an Advanced certification or a specialty
course in either of these areas.
Our BBQ nights which ran on the first Wednesday of every even month has now changed. We will be running Special Event nights and Fun Nights with Guest speakers present to offer you some diving news. This will be a good way for you to increase your diving knowledge and meet some like-minded people.
To kick off the first night, Kristyn from Dive Adventures will be coming in to talk on the overseas trips we have happening in 2011. We hope to see you here (at DiveXsite), the usual bbq will be on.
Join us for a nice, long weekend of diving at South West Rocks. Fish Rock Cave is the best-known and most popular dive site of South West Rocks. The Cave is just the beginning of the great diving around these parts. The surrounds of Fish Rock offer some spectacular dives and opportunities to view the abundant marine life that congregates around the Rock. The Grey Nurse shark is an ancient and docile species, but unfortunately is rare and endangered. Fish Rock is one of the few diving sites in Australia where Grey Nurse sharks can be found all year round.
Our trip departs the dive shop at 6.00pm on Friday night to Fish Rock.
This is our regular trip and we have spaces already filled on this trip, so get in now!
